Top of Mind is the sponsor of Bangladesh National Cricket team. Top of Mind, a media planning company has gotten the sponsorship rights for Tk 41 crore and 41 lakh. The organization has bought the sponsorship rights of Bangladesh National Cricket team for two years.
President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan Papon said on Wednesday, “Top of Mind has bought the sponsorship rights in an open tender. Top of Mind beat Grameenphone in the final tender.”
Top of Mind will also be the sponsor of Bangladesh A team, Bangladesh Under-19 team and Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket team.
Top of Mind bought the sponsorship rights of Bangladesh National Cricket team during the outgoing Bangladesh-Pakistan series, which concluded recently. They sold out the sponsorship rights to the Pran Group.
Earlier, Sahara Group, an Indian company bought the sponsorship rights of Bangladesh National Cricket team in the year of 2012. The Company purchased the sponsorship rights for four years. But BCB cancelled the agreement before one year and three months.
BCB and Top of Mind signed an agreement for two years. The agreement will be effective from the upcoming Bangladesh-India series scheduled to be started from June 10.
Bangladesh will face India in the only Test, which will be held at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah from June 10 to June 14.
The Tigers will take on India in the 1st One Day International (ODI) match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on June 18, meet India in the 2nd ODI at the same venue on June 21 and face India in the 3rd ODI at the same venue on June 24.
