Chittagong District police rounded up top listed human trafficker Bahadur from Banskhali Kutubkhali bazaar area on Thursday evening.
Additional police super (special branch) Md. Naimul Islam confirmed the news of arrest of Bahadur to this correspondent. District police sources said Bahadur is one of the top ranking human trafficker of south district area.
Bahadur is a listed human trafficker as his name was listed in the list of the traffickers as made by a committee constituted by the home ministry led by additional police commissioner Banaj Kumar Majumder earlier.
Acting on secret information about h is presence in the area, Banskhali police rounded up him from Kutubkhali bazaar of Banskhali upazila. Bahadur is the son of Ledu Miah hails from Chanua union of Banskhali upalzila, sources said.
