Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research struck a lease agreement for commercially marketing its innovative item ‘tomato powder’.
The deal was signed with Star Agro Processing Industries at BCSIR head office in the capital on Tuesday.
BCSIR member (development) Mohammed Zaker Hossain and secretary Md Khalilur Rahman and Star Agro CEO Syed Aminul Kabir and head of business Md Abdur Rauf signed the deal on behalf of their respective organisations.
Inventor of the product Md Asadul Islam and other officials of both the organisations were present on the occasion.
