In her 12 years of acting career, popular actress Toma Mirza has reached into that position where directors are showing their keen interest to cast her in their projects. Toma has achieved this quality by virtue of own dedication and honesty to her works, having huge patience, loves from the viewers and as a result, she got the National Film Award. Expert in all forms of classical dance, Toma Mirza gave huge efforts to come into this position. For this reason, she easily agrees to act in challenging roles for OTT platform. She last performed in role of Pakhi in Raihan Rafi’s web film Khanchar Bhitor Achin Pakhi. Toma’s performance in that web film got appreciation from the viewers.
In 2010, Toma Mirza debut her career in acting through MB Manik directed movie Bolona Tumi Aamar. Later, acted in several numbers of films, Toma basically came into discussion to act in Sohanur Rahman Sohan’s Ek Mon Ek Pran. In 2015, she got the National Film Award for the first time for acting in Shahneoaj Cacoly’s Nodijon. Then she became a busy actress in media.
While talking about to come into present position, Toma said, “It is true that I was not born with a golden spoon in my mouth. My father was a government employee. I passed disciplined life in the staff quarter area. I had no car. In fact, there was nothing special place for living. I can confess these without any hesitation. But with Allah’s blessings, I got my present life, now I have a private car, also got a nice place for living. And I got a beautiful life – I got all things from films. I cannot refuse these. In the very beginning, I had to face film politics. From that position respected Sohanur Rahman Sohan Bhai rescued me and gave me the opportunity to work in his movie Ek Mon Ek Pran. It was really challenging during that time. Then I turned over from the situation. To act in Shahneoaj Cacoly Apa’s movie I broke myself in acting and got the National Film Award. To work in Raihan Rafi’s web film Khanchar Bhitor Achin Pakhi, I have created my special position in the field of acting. Now I know in which projects I have to concentrate and in which works I have to refuse. Before Eid-ul-Fitr, I am expecting to work in a new film.”
Palabar Poth Nei, Gras, Ahonkar, Tomar Kachhe Wrinee, Game Returns, Eve Teasing, Gohiner Gaan, Cholo Palai are Toma acted mentionable movies.
