According to reports, the Hollywood actor had top secret space training to prep him for the grueling mission, but plans were halted following the incident.Cruise was planning to be a part of the fatal Columbia Space Shuttle mission which tragically blew up on its return. The space craft exploded when it re-entered the Earth’s atmosphere, instantly killing all seven crew members who were on board.In preparation for the mission, the Mission Impossible star allegedly took part in a NASA induction course in Florida, the same place where the Kennedy Space Center is based.
