Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed on Thursday said, Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) has to increase support to businessmen for extending their external trade competency.”Country’s foreign trade will be increased further in the coming days. So, the businessmen who are involved with foreign trade have to be prepared attaining competency to deal the scenario,” he added.
The minister was addressing the annual general meeting of the BFTI at ministry’s conference room, said a release.
He said the BFTI has been carrying out research on difficulties and potentialities on export trade along with extending cooperation in implementing different development projects of UNCTAD, ITC and UNESCAP. “The BFTI has to ensure highest services for the businessmen.”
