UNB, Dhaka :
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed on Sunday smelled “international conspiracy” behind the ongoing movement of BNP chairperson
Khaleda Zia. “It is no movement; it is acts of terrorism and militancy. I think there are international conspiracies behind the ongoing movement of Khaleda Zia,” he told press conference after a meeting of the Awami League-led 14-party alliance at the AL President’s Dhanmondi office in the city.
Tofail, also a member of AL advisory council, alleged that Khaleda Zia had declared the movement against the country’s progress and development.
About dialogue, he said: “Our position is clear in this regard. There will be no dialogue with the persons involved in acts of terrorism.”
Speaking at the press conference, Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu said there will be no dialogue with “demons and arsonists.”
The AL-led 14-party meeting decided to hold a rally at Uttara on Monday at 3 pm protesting the subversive acts of BNP-Jamaat alliance. The alliance will also hold a mass procession in the capital on February 20.
