Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed on Thursday said none will be allowed to run real estate and housing business in the country except the members of Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB).
“Only REHAB members will run the real estate and housing business in the country,” said Tofail while speaking at the inaugural programme of the ‘REHAB Fair-2017’ at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BCCI) here.
Tofail said that he would talk to finance minister AMA Muhith about the problems the real and housing sector is now facing.
Speaking on the occasion, state minister for power, energy and mineral resources Nasrul Hamid said the government will start providing the industrial sector gas connection from April of the next year.
Acting president of REHAB Nurunnabi Chowdhury presided over the opening session.
