Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed on Sunday left here for Japan to boost bilateral trade and investment as well as economic cooperation.
During the six-day visit, he would meet Japanese foreign minister, finance minister, and commerce and industry minister as well as JETRO Chairman, said a ministry press release.
FBCCI President Shafiul Islam Mahiuddin, BGMEA President M Siddiqur Rahman, Director Monir Hossain, Farmers Bank Chairman Dr Chowdhury Nafiz Sarafat and two others are accompanying the commerce minister.
