Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed left on Saturday for India to join Horasis Asia Meeting to be held in Kolkata.
He will attend the opening session of the meeting as chief guest, said a commerce ministry media release.
Tofail is going to join the 2-day meeting at the invitation of Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) director general Dr Rajib Singh.
About 400 representatives from 65 countries are expected to participate in the meeting.
The meeting will focus on regional trade and cooperation, boosting investment and sustainable growth.
Tofail is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of India and other countries.
