In 1994, Hosne Ara Putul got the National Film Award for acting in late Humayun Ahmed’s movie Aguner Poroshmoni. She played the role of Binti in that film and received the award from present Prime Minister of the country Sheikh Hasina. Then Putul also acted in Humayun Ahmed’s movies Shyamol Chhaya and Aamar Achhey Jol. Therefore, she also acted in late film director Khalid Mahmood Mithu’s movie Jonakir Alo.
Putul also got appreciation from the viewers to act in Humayun Ahmed’s many plays. However, she had experiences to work under other directors’ direction in their works.
Now Putul cannot give time to acting because she has been engaged with her family and children. She informed that her daughter Maliha will appear in the SSC examinations in 2020. For this reason, she has refused to act in Duranto TV’s a serial. But from November 25, she will start shooting of Shams Karim’s a drama serial titled Hossain Shaheb-er Dokane Asha Manushjon. There is no extra pressure in this serial, so agreed to work.
Putul said, “My daughter’s SSC examination is coming February. So, I have to be engaged with her study. For this reason, I cannot give enough time to acting like previous times. After completing her exams, I will surely become regular in acting because I still love acting. I have appetite of acting. I cannot detach with acting for many days. I acted in Dr Ezazul Islam Bhai-directed serial Swasthyo Mama. I got huge appreciation from the viewers to act in that serial. I get love from the viewers, it is really a liking matter to me.”
