Deshratna Sebak Parishad
A discussion on ‘Successes of Sheikh Hasina-led government in the primary education’ organized by Deshratna Sebak Parishad was held on Wednesday in the VIP auditorium of the National Press Club. Food Minister Quamrul Islam was present as the chief guest. While speaking Quamrul said, ‘Begum Zia didn’t initiate the trial of Zia Killing Case after assumption of office in 1991 but Awami League did after coming to power in 1996. President of the Parishad Chitta Ranjan Das presided over the discussion.
