One Habibur Rahman has set an exceptional example of tobacco-free house in Kaptan Bazar Jahan Nagar area of Cumilla .
In the house, there are 60 family members without habits of tobacco, smoking for the last thirty years.
So the house of Habibur Rahman became a model of tobacco free one within the area.The name of the house is Rahman Villa , a tobacco free house written in the name plate of the house.
This initiative was taken by the father of Habibur Rahman (late Khalilur Rahman) thirty years ago. His father was died of TB deadly disease . After his death, elder son of late Khalilur Rahman cautiously controlled the use of tobacco in their family .
All of the members of Khalilur Rahman’s family totally boycotted use of tobacco as advised by the physicians and the initiatives of Habibur Rahman after death of his father with TB infection disease.
In the meantime, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working across the country to free the country from curse of tobacco abuse by next 2040 and with this declaration of the Prime Minister, Habibur Rahman also inspired more to comply the dreams of the state. In commilla, Amra Dhumpan Nibaron Kori organization is relentlessly working for freeing the district out of tobacco curse.
