Inspector General of Police (IGP) A K M Shahidul Huq on Thursday donated Taka one lakh to the family members of late journalist of the daily Amar Desh Shamsus Salehin at his Police Headquarters’s office.
Wife of Salehin, former vice-president of Crime Reporters’ Association of Bangladesh (CRAB), received the cheque of Taka one lakh at a function.
Senior police officials-DIG (operations) of Police Headquarters Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, DIG (Media and Planning) Md Lutfor Rahman Mandal, AIG (Media and Public Relation) Md Nazrul Islam, CRAB leaders – advisory committee member Gaffar Mahmud, President Isharaf Hossain Esa, Vice-President Muhammad Jahangir Alam, Treasurer Md Sahidul Islam Rana, among others, were present.
