Mohammad Abu Toyab, a valiant freedom fighter and Chairman of TK Group of Industries, died at a hospital in the capital on Saturday morning.
Abu Toyab, father of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries director Hasnat Mohammad Abu Obida, died of old age complications at the age of 73, family sources said.
He left behind his wife, three sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. The first namaz-e-janaza of Abu Toyab was held at the DOHS mosque in Dhaka after Zohr prayers, the second Namaz-e-janaza held at Jamiatul Falah Maidan in the port city at 10pm last night . He was buried at their family graveyard at Monsha under Patiya Upazila after his third namaz-e-janaza.
CCCI mourns at TK Group Chairman’s death: Directors of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) have expressed deep condolence over the death of M Abu Tayub, Chairman of TK group.
He died at a private hospital in Dhaka on Saturday.
CCCI President Mahbubul Alam, Senior Vice President M Nurun Newaz Selim and Vice President Sayed Jamal Ahmed expressed their deep condolence, said a press release. Abu Tayub’s Namaj-e-Janaja will be held in Mansa village under Patiya Upazila, the press release added.
