President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Wednesday that the BCB would give Tk 6 crore for the Bangladesh National Cricket team for their
recent outstanding performance. The BCB will give Tk 4 crore for the performance in the ICC Champions Trophy, which concluded recently in England. Bangladesh team for the first time reached the semi-finals of that competition. The cricket board also rewarded Tk 2 crore to the members of Bangladesh team, which beat Australia by 20 runs in the first Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Wednesday.
It will handover the bonus to the members of Bangladesh team today (Thursday).
Captain of Bangladesh Cricket (ODI) team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will also be included in the squad of Bangladesh team, which will get the bonus money.
