Netrakona Pourasava approved a proposed budget of taka 59.1 crore for fiscal 2015-16 year.
Mayor of Netrakona Pourashava Prasanta Kumar Ray formally announced the budget at a crowded press conference at the pourasava hall room here on June 6 last with a vision to build up the Netrakona pourasava as a “modern and developed pourasava”. Announcing the budget, the Mayor Prasanta Ray said that the main objective of the budget is to enhance the civic facilities and gear up development -oriented activities of the pourasava. He said, no new tax has been imposed in the budget.
He said, taka 49.56 crore have been earmarked in the budget for executing different development and service-oriented projects around the pourashava.
