Chittagong Bureau :On second day of Income Tax Fair-2015 , Chittagong taxation zone consists of 4-Tax zones realised tax of Tk.56cr 57 lakh 26 thousands from the tax payers. 33,967 tax payees were given service in the fair on second day and 2,017 persons submitted tax return . Moreover, 167 persons registered under e-TIN and 26 re-enlisted . Joint commissioner of Tax zone-4 and convener of Fair Sub-committee Md. Masud Rana told the New Nation that 693 tax payees submitted retrun in Tax zone-1, 245 TP in Zone -2, 392 TP in zone-3 and 365 TP in Zone -4 . The tax realized from Zone-1, Zone-2, Zone-3 and Zone-4 with Tk.28,15,19,815 , Tk.14,13,81.905, Tk.8,20,90,348 and Tk.6,06.85,561 respectively. Mentionable that on first day of the fair, tax realized Tk.28,20,90,928.00 under four zones on wednesdy. The organizers of the IT fair in Chittagong hoped for realization of Tk.8000 cr this year through this weeklong fair. Mentionable that city Mayor AJM Nasiruddin inaugurated the fair as chief guest on Wednesday at Chittagong govt office building-2 adjoining ground .
