Gouripur pourashava has announced Tk 53 crores 09 lakh 63 thousand budget for the year of 2017-18. Mayor of Gouripur Pourashava Syed Rafiqul Islam announced the budget at the office of the Pourashava on Thursday afternoon in presence of local elites, political leaders, Poura councilors and journalists .
In the budget document of the current fiscal, an amount of Tk 4 cr 32 lac 92 thousand 1 hundred and 41 was shown in the revenue head, Tk 48 crore 13 lakh 24 thousand 5 hundred and 32 in the development head and the rest of the amount was earmarked in various projects and grants of the government.
The Mayor said ,the budget money will be spent for different development schemes including construction ,roads, drainage systems, parks, markets, bridge, culverts, road lights etc.
