Gouripur Pourashava has announced over Tk 49. 37 cr budget for the year of 2015-16 .
Mayor of Gouripur Pourashava Syed Rafiqul Islam announced the budget at the auditorium of the Pourashava on Thursday noon in presence of local elite, political leaders, Poura councilors and journalists .
Of the budget, Tk 2 crore 38 lakh 80 thousand and 8 hundred will come from the income of the pourashava and from the income of, taka 2 crore 22 lakh 49 thousand and 3 hundred will be spent .
Taka 36 crore 59 lakh and 96 thousand, 2 hundred and 51 will come from the Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED and the rest of foreign donors
The Mayor said ,the budget money will be spent for different development schemes including construction ,roads, drainage systems, park, markets, bridge, culverts etc.
