The government has allocated Tk. 45 crores to implement 597 projects including development of communication infrastructures in remote areas of Chittagong Hill Tracts. Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief has constructed 136 bridges in 10 upazila of the district in 2015-2016 fiscal year, said district relief officer Biswanath Majumder.
