A mobile court of Chittagong imposed penalty of Tk.40 thousand to a drug store at Lalkhan Bazar in city for selling contraband medicines and physician sample. The mobile court was conducted by Executive Magistrate of district administration Md. Arafat Hossain duly coopeation by Drug Superintendent Md. Shafiqur Rahman. Mukti Pharmacy of Lalkhan bazaar area was convicted with Drug control act 1940, section 18 for violating the act . Besides, mobile court team also fined Tk.20 thousand to four wholesale shops in Reazuddin Bazar for s elling synthetic made shopping bags violating the Jute products compulsory Consumption Act of 2013 , sources said.
