UNB, Dhaka :Miscreants stormed a house in the city’s Jurain area on Saturday afternoon and looted Tk 3 lakh after chopping a sexagenarian woman.The injured was identified as Shahida Begum, 60, wife of late Sabur Sardar of East Jurain under Kadamtali Police Station. She received treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).The victim told reporters at the hospital that a gang of 8-10 hoodlums, including Falan, stormed their house around 4pm.The miscreants hacked her with sharp weapons and took away Tk 3 lakh before leaving the spot, she said.Constable at the DMCH Police Camp Sentu Das confirmed the incident.
