UNB, Savar:Muggers looted Tk 3.5 lakh after stabbing a bKash agent to death and injuring another in Majidpur area here on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Kamruzzaman, a ‘bKash’ agent and son of Sekander Ali, a resident of Dhekipara village in Pangsha upazila of Rajbari district. He used to live in Majidpur area.Officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station Motaleb Miah said a group of miscreants intercepted Kamruzzaman and his assistant Roman near his house in the area when they were returning home from Bharasa Market of Savar Bus Stand area at about 11:30 pm. Later, the miscreants took away a bag containing Tk3.5 lakh from Kamruzzaman. As Kamruzzaman and Roman tried to resist the hoodlums, they stabbed them indiscriminately, leaving Kamruzzaman dead on the spot and Roman seriously injured. Roman was rushed to Enam Medical College Hospital.
