Muggers snatched away Tk 20 lakh from a staff of bKash Ltd, a subsidiary of Brac Bank, at gunpoint in the city’s Rajarbagh area on Saturday morning. Victim Giasuddin, a distributor of bKash along with his nephew were going to deposit the money to a Brac Bank branch in Motijheel riding on a motorbike from Khilgaon when three unidentified youths stopped them in front of Telecom Bhaban in Rajarbagh around 10:00am and took away the money at gunpoint, Giasuddin told The New Nation yesterday. The victim filed a case with Motijheel Police Station in this connection.
