The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq presented Tk 1,601.95 crore deficit budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2015-16.
It was done at a press conference on Wednesday held at the city’s Uttara Community Centre.
Chief Executive Officer B M Enamul Haque, Chief Revenue Officer Md Momtaz Uddin, Chief Waste Management Officer Captain Bipon Kumar Saha and Chief Health Officer Brigadier General AKM Masud Ahsan were present among others, at the budget presentation ceremony.
The budget is almost double than the size of the revised budget, Tk 803.19 crore for the previous FY 2014-15. The amount of the original budget was Tk 2,041.87 crore.
