Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized smuggled Indian clothes worth Tk one crore from Nabharan area on the Benapole-Jessore road in Sharsha upazila early Saturday.
Lieutenant Colonel Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer of BGB Battalion-26, said being tipped off, they launched a drive in the area in the dead of night.
Sensing the presence of the border force, the smugglers fled the scene leaving behind the truck.
