Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank (BB) SK Sur Chowdhury distributed cheques of about Taka one crore as agriculture loan among 109 male and female framers of Uttam area at a farmers’ rally here on Friday.
He distributed the cheques at the farmers’ rally organised by Uttam Manohar Integrated Crop Management (ICM) Farmers’ Club at Uttam Manohar High School ground as the chief guest with President of the ICM Farmers’ Club Tauhidul Islam Tuhin in the chair.
General Manager (GM) of the Agriculture Loan & Financial Services Division of BB Prabhash Chandra Mollik, its GM of the Green Banking & CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Division Abul Mansur Ahmed, GM of its Rangpur Branch Bazlar Rahman Mollah, expatriate businessman Hasanuzzaman and city unit General Secretary of Awami League Tushar Kanti Mandal attended the ceremony as the special guests.
