The 6th and last round super league matches of Walton Refrigerator Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League will be held today (Sunday) at the three separate venues in the city and its adjoining area with three matches slated on the day.
On the day, Prime Bank Cricket Club take on Abahani Limited at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur, Kalabagan Cricket Academy meet Legends of Rupganj at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah and Mohammedan Sporting Club face Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan ground in Savar.
Going into the final round, Mushfiqur Rahim’s Prime Doleshwar and Mahmudullah Riyad’s Prime Bank Cricket club will both have an opportunity to win the title as Prime Bank are at the top of the league with 24 points while Prime Doleshwar closely following them with 22 points.
Prime Bank will win the championship if they able to beat Abahani Limited in the final round. However if they lose and Prime Doleshwar beat Mohammedan, then the side with the higher run-rate will be crowned champions.
