Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Monday left Dhaka for India to join the ‘Silang Discussion-2019’ and the ‘Indo-Bangladesh Stakeholder Conference’.
The ‘Silang Discussion’ will be held at Meghalaya on October 22 and 23 while the ‘Indo-Bangladesh Stakeholder Conference’ on October 24 and 25, said a press release.
The Silang discussion will be held for developing the tourism sector and agriculture in the north-east India and besides areas.
The discussion will accelerate the trade and investment relations between Bangladesh and India, specially seven sister states of the north east India.
Tipu Munshi is expected to return home on October 25.
