Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Monday left here for China to join the second South Asia Cooperation Forum (SACF).
The commerce minister, who is leading a four-member Bangladeshi delegation attending the SACF in an invitation of Yunnan Province Governor Ruan Chengfa, said a ministry release.
The SACF is being held on June 11-12 as the side event of 7-day long South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair and Second China-South Asia Cooperation Forum-2019.
The minister is also scheduled to attend the inaugural ceremony of the South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair to be taken place in Kunming on June 12.
Tipu Munshi is likely to return home on June 13.
