UNB, Gazipur :
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered a ‘powerful time bomb’ from Cheragali Market area beside Power Office in Tongi of the city on Sunday night.
RAB-1 commanding officer Lt Kazi Shoyeb said local people spotted the bomb in the area and informed them around 8:30 pm.
Later, a team of the elite force rushed to the spot and recovered the bomb.
The bomb was taken to Rab-1 Uttara office and kept in a bucket full of water for defusing.
