Suborna Mustafa is a versatile and reputed actress of the country. She is idol to many actresses of few
generations. While asking any actress about who is her favourite actress, without thinking second time they mention the name of Suborna Mustafa with due respect. Basically Ekushey Padak winner Suborna Mustafa is a legendary actress. When she appreciates performance of any actress it becomes recognition and also honor to that actress. Now there is a wave of movie ‘Poran’ across the country. Many celebrities also enjoyed the movie in the theatres and they appreciated Bidya Sinha Mim’s performance in the movie.
According to Suborna Mustafa, she has already watched movies ‘Poran’ and ‘Hawa.’ In ‘Poran,’ she became impressed watching acting of Mim along with Shariful Razz and Yash Roshan. Mim started her career in showbiz after winning the crown of ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ in 2007. In this contest, Mim had to perform in a small drama. Mim’s performance was with poet Al Mahmud’s famous poem ‘Nolok.’ In the drama, Mim acted as a student where actor Monir Khan Shimul was her teacher. Sara Zaker, Suborna Mustafa and Tauquir Ahmed were three judges on that year’s ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ contest. In the small drama episode, Suborna Mustafa was impressed to watch Mim’s performance during that time. Suborna Mustafa then told Mim that she was not confirmed is Mim would become champion of the contest but in future she will become a great actress. After watching the movie ‘Poran,’ Suborna Mustafa recalled memories with Mim during that contest.
While talking in this regard, she said, “Yes, I can remember during that time I had huge expectation about Mim’s performance. Earlier, she did somehow but in ‘Poran,’ Mim acted outstandingly well in role of ‘Anonna.’ Her acting became good and perfect regarding her character in this movie. After watching this movie, I can say that ‘Poran’ is Mim’s best work till now.”
While sharing her feelings in this regard, Mim said, “Respected Suborna Madam is idol to all of our actresses. I can recall the memory with her during ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ contest where she desired highly appreciation about my acting performance. During that time remarkable appreciation from her inspired me to come into this position in media. It is really a likeable matter to me that she went to cinema hall to watch my acted movie ‘Poran.”
It is noted that Bidya Sinha Mim first got the National Film Award for acting in Khalid Mahmood Mithu’s ‘Jonakir Alo.’ During that time Suborna Mustafa was the member of jury board.
