Mobile court in Chittagong evicted a tiles godown illegally constructed in railway land near south gate of MA Aziz stadium in Chittagong .
During the eviction drive, huge quantities of tiles destroyed, eye witnesses sources said. The eviction drive launched at 11 am yesterday led by district Executive Magistrate Rakib Hasan. A railway sources said Financial Advisor of the East Zone Railway Jamaluddin rented out this godown to a tiles company by illegally constructed over 5 sataks of land which earlier grabbed by him .
Magistrate said following the initiatives of the Railway, east zone , the eviction drive was conducted. During eviction drive, none from tiles company owner’s side was found, he said. While asked about the actions against the concerned Railway officer, he said it depends on railway authority.
