The Bangladesh women’s cricket team suffered a 58-run defeat to Pakistan women’s cricket team in the second T20I of the four-match series held on Wednesday at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar.
Put to bat first by Bangladesh, Pakistan were dismissed at a small total of 88 for 5 in 14 overs with skipper Javeria Khan top scoring 25 runs and Nahida Khan making 18. Nahida Akter took two Pakistani wickets conceding 19 runs. Bangladesh started the chase badly as neither any batsman of the host side able to reach the double figure in the face of tight bowling spells by the Pakistani bowlers and eventually dismissed at 30 in 12.5 overs.
