Tight security taken in Kishoreganj to curb crimes

Kishoreganj District Administration is going to take strict security measures to make the price of essentials stable and curb extortion in the district during Ramzan, Deputy Commissioner of Kishoreganj Md. Azimuddin Biswas said.
Tight security measure were taken to prevent extortion, mugging and other crimes during holy Ramzan.
Besides, strict security measure will be provided to all markets round the clock.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas addressing a seminar on Consummers Rights Protect Act- 2009 held at its conference hall on Wednesday.
It was address among others by ADC (General) Tarafder Md. Akhter Jamil, Additional Police Super S.M. Mustain Hossain, Senior Magistrate Abu Taher Sayeed, Magistrate Momena Akhter, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, District Press Club President Mustafa Kamal, Assistant Director of Consummers Rights Protect Ibrahim Hossain, CAB Secretary Monowar Hossain Rony and Bara Bazar Marchent Association Secretary Osman Goni.
Additional Police Super S.M Mustain Hossain said the New Nation that the government will show zero tolerance against extortion on the highways during the month. Police also work to curb extortion and easy the traffic system. Commercial banks adjacent to shopping malls will operate till night.
Police teams will be deployed for ‘foot patrol’ at different points.
Moreover, mobile teams patrol their designted areas by vehicles. There will also be motorycycle teams for patrolling the town areas.
In addition, block raids will be conducted at the town slums to nab criminals, he added.
Along with the uniformed policeman, he said, plainclothes police detective teams will be deployed at the marketplaces Ramzan to keep round the clock vigil and thwart crimes.
