Champions Trophy: Tigers take on India in 2nd semis today

Highly motivated Tigers led by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will take on India in the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy at Edgbaston in Birmingham today. The do-or-die match begins at 3.30 pm (Bangladesh Time). GTV, Maasranga TV and BTV will telecast the match live.
India emerged as the champions of the Group-B securing four points from
 three matches. Pakistan, the runners-up of the Group-B gained four points from three matches. But by virtue of better run rate, India took the top spot of the Group-B. On the other hand, Bangladesh became runners-up of the Group-A collecting three points from three matches. Hot favourites England emerged as the champions of Group-A bagging maximum six points from three matches.
Bangladesh had a sorrow start as they tasted eight-wicket defeat to England in their opening Group-A match on June1.
The match between Bangladesh and Australia was washed out by rain on June 5.
Later, Bangladesh showed a gimmick performance thrashing strong New Zealand by five wickets in their last Group-A match on June 9.
India started their Group-B campaign with a happy note as they registered a massive 124-run victory over their arch-rivals Pakistan in their first Group-B match. Then India tasted a seven-wicket defeat to their neighbouring country Sri Lanka on June 8. India confirmed their semi-final berth crushing choker South Africa by eight wickets on June 11. Meanwhile, the fans of India cricket team bought most of the tickets of the semi-final match between Bangladesh and India. So, a notable number of cricket fans of Bangladesh think they are deprived to watch their much-awaited semi-final match of the ICC Champions Trophy.
It may be mentioned that Bangladesh lost to India in the quarter-final match of the ICC World Cup Cricket 2015 and were ousted from the gala cricket meet.
The cricket-viewers of the country want to watch a sweet revenge over India from their side.
