Tigers-Proteas 1st Test begins today

After winning the ODI series 2-1 against the touring South Africa (Proteas), the Team Bangladesh will take on the visitors in the first Test match today (Tuesday) at 9.30 am at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, the port city of the country.
GTV will telecast the match live from the Stadium.
Both teams took part at their respective practice sessions at the venue on Monday.
After the practice session, Captain of Bangladesh team Mushfiqur Rahim said, “We have spent a good ODI series against South Africa. We won the Test series against Zimbabwe recently. We drew one of the two Test matches against Pakistan in Khulna recently. We also drew a Test match against India recently. Those achievement restored confidence in us.”
He said, “Our target is to perform well in the longer version of cricket. I think the players of our team have the ability to do that.”  
After the practice session, Captain of South Africa Hashim Amla said, “Bangladesh team performed really well in the recently concluded ODI series against us. They are trying to do better in the Test also.”
Hashim said, “All the players of our team play well. We have standard bowlers like  
Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel. We shall try to give cent percent tomorrow (Tuesday).” Hashim highly praised Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman.
He said, “Shakib is one of the star players of the world cricket.”

South Africa (possible): Reeza Hendricks, Dean Elgar, Faf du Plessis, Hashim Amla (Captain), JP Duminy, Quinton de Kock (Wicketkeeper), Stiaan van Zyl, Vernon Philander, Simon Harmer/Aaron Phangiso, Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel.
