Bangladesh’s preliminary squad for the ODI and Test series against England started their conditioning camp at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday. All players called up joined the camp on the first day, except Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman. Shakib is currently away playing in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for Jamaica Tallawahs while Mustafizur Rahman left for UK on Wednesday morning to join Sussex’s squad for the ongoing NatWest T20 Blast. The players started their fitness training under local trainer Iftekharul Islam as the Bangladesh strength and conditioning coach Mario Villavarayan has delayed his return from Sri Lankan following the vacation.The England Cricket team is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on September 30 on a month-long tour to Bangladesh after six years to play a three-match ODI (Day-Night) and two-match Test series against the Tigers in Dhaka and Chittagong.
