Bangladesh national cricket team suffered a five-wicket defeat to Australia XI in the warm-up match ahead of the World Cup 2015 held on Tuesday at the Allan Border Field in Australia.
Asked to bat first by the Australian XI, Bangladesh were all out for 231 runs with Mominul Haque as the top scorer with 52 followed by all rounder Mahmudullah 42.
The Tigers will also play another warm up match on Thursday (Feb 5) against Australia XI, where Michael Clarke is expected to make appearance.
Bangladesh placed in Pool A will debut in the World Cup 2015 with a match against Afghanistan at Canberra.
