Warm-up match: Tigers declare 306 for 7 wickets

Bangladesh declared their first innings making 306 for the loss of seven wickets against Cricket South Africa Invitation XI on the first day of the three-day warm-up match at Benoni in South Africa on Thursday.
In reply, South Africa were at 21 for the loss of one wicket at the stumps.
Opener Tamim Iqbal was retired hurt scoring just five runs after Bangladesh electing to bat first.
Opener Soumya Sarkar and one-down Imrul Kayes built a notable partnership after Tamim Iqbal returned to the pavilion.
Imrul Kayes was caught by Dikgale off S von Berg when the Tigers’ total was 84 for the loss of one wicket.
Then Soumya Sarkar could stay at the crease for a short period as he was caught behind by substitute wicketkeeper H Klaasen off Pretorious when Bangladesh’s score was 92 for the loss of two wickets.
After dismissal of Sarkar, Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim contributed together 119 runs for the fourth wicket partnership before Mominul Haque was caught behind by substitute wicketkeeper Klaasen off Cohen when the Tigers’ total was 211 for the loss of three wickets.
Sabbir Rahman and Mehedi Hasan Miraz added together 52 runs in the eighth wicket stand before Miraz was caught behind by Klaasen off Bokako when Bangladesh’s score was 272 for the loss of seven wickets.
Mominul Haque notched up a superb 68. His 73-ball innings was laced with nine fours.
Mushfiqur Rahim made a marvellous 63. His 85-ball knock was belted with eight fours. Sabbir Rahman remained unbeaten with 58. He hit nine fours in his 89-ball innings.
Earlier, Soumya Sarkar made 43 from 69 balls featuring eight fours, while Imrul Kayes scored 34 off 51 balls with four fours.
MA Cohen of South Africa grabbed four wickets at the cost of 23 runs. Besides, Pretorious, Bokako and S von Berg took one wicket apiece.
