Tigers back to business today

The Tigers will back to business today (Sunday) as they will start training camp to prepare themselves for the full tour of against West Indies in July-August.
The cricketers will report today (Sunday) to national team strength and conditioning coach Mario Villavarayen for the camp at 8.45 am at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur, Bangladesh Cricket Board senior manager Rabeed Imam confirmed BSS on Saturday.
The Tigers had a busy schedule until the Nidahas Trophy though they could not get the expectant result from the tournament losing to India in the nail-biting final. But now the Tigers are concentrating about their upcoming series against West Indies.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board already announced a 31-memebr preliminary squad for the Caribbean series with Yeasin Arafat and Shadman Islam are the two new faces.
Among the 31-member squad 19-year-old medium pacer Yeasin Arafat is the surprise pick, who was rewarded for his impressive performances in the domestic circuit.
The Tigers are expected to play two Tests, three ODIs and a T20I during their West Indies tour. However, two of their prized assets-Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman-are currently busy as they are representing for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians respectively in the ongoing India Premier League.
Before Bangladesh head off West Indies, the Tigers will play three-match T20Is against Afghanistan in India. All three matches will be a day-night fixture and will be held on June 3, 5 and 7 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in the northern Indian city of Dehradun. It will be first bilateral series of the two nations.
