Tigers arrive in Ireland

Bangladesh Cricketers are gear-up to take part in the Tri-nation ODI series as they moved from England to fly off to Belfast, Northern Ireland’s capital on Sunday morning.
A BCB source said to BSS on Sunday that after a hiccup at Gatwick airport in London when their flight was delayed due to technical issue, Tigers finally left London for Belfast after 70 minutes delay.
Small contingents of Bangladeshi fans were present at the airport to welcome the team, especially lead by Mohammed Bhai, a very popular Irish-Bangladeshi who owns number of restaurant in Belfast. Mohammed Bhai has looked after the visiting Bangladesh team with special care in the last two tours by Bangladesh Cricket team.
Bangladesh along with New Zealand and Ireland will be taking part in tri-series commencing on May 12 with a match against Ireland at Dublin.
After playing their last match on May 24 against New Zealand, Tigers will travel back to England to take part in the Champions Trophy schedule to begin from June I with the Tigers facing host England in the inaugural fixture on June 1.
Earlier Bangladesh left Dhaka on April 27 to take part in a 10-day training camp in Sussex. New pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan who took part in Indian Premier League, joined the team on Saturday in Brighton.
ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza who came back to Dhaka to visit his ailing wife has already left for London and is scheduled to fly-off to Belfast last evening.
