Bangladesh have moved to the 5th position from 7th in the latest ICC ODI rankings due to their outstanding performances last year.
Though the ICC has not published the new rankings yet, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon revealed this to media after returning from the ICC meeting that concluded in Dubai on Monday.
The Tigers’ ODI rating points have shot up to 101 from 97.
Australia, New Zealand, India and South Africa maintain their previous positions from 1st to 4th respectively with 128, 117, 115 and 114 rating points.
