TIB debate ends at CU

A three-day-long Inter University debate competition on transparency in the fallowness to the finance of the climate and corruption was ended on Saturday evening at Chittagong University campus.
Some 32 teams from public and private universities competed while the representatives from Premier University got the championship and the representatives from North South University were runners up.
The best debater was nominated as Tanvir Siddiqi of Premier University and the debater of the tournament was Rakib Hasan of North South.
The youth were called upon to contribute to keep the climate healthy and to keep transparency in the flowness of the climate by placing meritorious arguemnet to the world leasders.
Besides, the addressers demanded an agreement among the nations to reduce carbon and to boost transparency and accountability in the deposition of the climate.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury as the chief guest said the main goal of the debte is to set up reality while Engineer Delowar Hossain, president of Socheton Nagororik Committee, Chittagong chaired the debate.
Among others, Uma Chowdhury, civic engagement of TIB, CUDS moderator Dr Imran Hossain, CUDS adviser Dr Mahbubul Hoque were present in the meeting.
