He was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) instantly, the Government Railway Police (GRP) officials sources said..Quoting the rescuers, Abdul Mazid, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kamlapur Railway Station said that a gang of four muggers followed Nazmul, owner of a tailoring shop at Arambagh when he was returning to Tongi from his workplace by a train.The victim boarded the train from the Kamalapur Railway Station. The muggers reportedly looted Tk 6,000 and Nazmul’s belongings before throwing him through the window. His leg was severed from just above the right ankle, the OC said.The GRP are investigating the matter, he said.
