Ratrir Jatri is Habibul Islam Habib’s directed first full length Bangla film. Story, script and dialogue of the film were also written by Habib himself. Popular film actress Moushumi will act in the title role in the film.
Popular actor and also film and play director Salauddin Lavlu and actor Anisur Rahman Milon will act as co-actors of Moushumi in the movie.
Shooting of the movie will kick off from November. Recently Mahurat of Ratrir Jatri was held at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) in the city’s Tejgaon area.
Information Secretary Mortuza Ahmed was present as chief guest in the Mahurat of the movie, while Editor of daily Amader Arthoniti Naimul Islam Khan and DIG of Dhaka Range of Bangladesh Police SM Mahfuzul Haque Nuruzzaman were also present as special guests on the occasion.
While talking about the movie Moushumi told this correspondent, “Basically story of Ratrir Jatri has impressed me to act in the movie. For this reason, despite having tight schedule I have agreed to act in this movie. I am really grateful to director Habib Bhai because he has decided to cast me to act in the title role in his movie. I believe everybody who will be related to this movie will cooperate us to make a successful movie. I think story of the movie will attract all.”
Salauddin Lavlu shared his feelings by this way, “In case of acting, Ratrir Jatri will be my fourth movie. I am feeling well that after giving direction I am going to act against Moushumi in the movie. ATM Bhai will also act in this movie. I think it will be a nice movie.”
“It will be my first movie with Moushumi. I am really feeling different types of excitement in this regard. If she cooperates me by her own way I can perform well. I am grateful to Habib Bhai to give me an exposure in his movie,” said Anisur Rahman Milon while sharing his feelings about the movie.
Director Habib said, “A true picture of love, affair and reality of one night will be portrayed in the movie. I believe that viewers will invent a new Moushumi by this movie. I think everybody will cooperate me to make a nice movie. I will take initiative to publicity of the movie on Facebook.”
Bank of Audio Visual Arts will produce the movie. There will be six playback tracks. Lyrics of all the playback songs were written by director Habib.
It may be mentioned that Salauddin Lavlu first acted in Chashi Nazrul Islam’s movie Ajker Protibad.
Later Lavlu acted in Shahidul Islam Khokon’s Laal Sabuj and Azizur Rahman’s Daktar Bari. Milon’s acted and Zakir Hossain Raju directed movie Onek Sadh-er Moina is scheduled to be released on November 7.
On the other hand, Moushumi’s acted and Noim Imtiaz Neyamul directed a movie titled Ek Cup Cha, produced by film actor Ferdous, will be released on November 14.
