On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr, produced by Mahfuza Akhter a special musical programme titled Musical Café has been made to telecast on Bangladesh Television (BTV).
Popular singer SI Tutul hosted the show. He has also rendered two songs in the programme.
In the programme, three siblings Samina Chowdhury, Fahmida Nabi and Pancham rendered songs.
Recording of the programme was done at BTV’s Drama Studio on June 27.
In the programme, Samina Chowdhury rendered two songs – Anurodh korey ar ki hobey? and Aamai dekona ferano jabena, Fahmida Nabi rendered songs Aamar mon bhalo nei boley and Jai ki chhera buker pajor and Pancham rendered songs Akasher niley and Emon ekta shomoy chhilo.
Therefore, along with Tutul the three siblings rendered late Mahmudunnabi’s a song titled Tumi kokhon eshey dariye achho aamar ajantey. Tutul and Samina also rendered the duet song Bhalo lagey chand.
While sharing her feelings in this regard Samina told this correspondent, “It has become a nice programme. I have enjoyed rendering songs in the programme because its presentation was really different.”
Fahmida Nabi said, “To render songs in such a condition on the stage I have liked the matter which will be find by the listeners in fact.”
Tutul informed that he has tried to present something exceptional programme for the viewers.
The programme will be aired on BTV at 4:00pm on Eid day.
