Three separate CHT Zila Parisad bills placed in JS

Three separate bills 2014 (amendment) for three districts of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Zila parisad placed in the House on Tuesday. State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur U Shoi Singh placed the three separate zila parisad bills in the Jatiya Sangsad, which were later sent to the parliamentary standing committee of the ministry for scrutiny for three weeks. The three bills are Rangamati Hill Tracts Zila Parisad (Amendment) Bill 2014, Bandarban Hill Tracts Zila Parisad (Amendment) Bill 2014, Khagrachari Hill Tracts Zila Parisad (Amendment) Bill 2014.
According to bills, each parisad would be formed with a chairman and 10 members.
Rangamati Hill Tracts Zila Parisad would be constituted with 11-member, of which three members from Chakma, one from Marma, one from Kheyang and Lowsai, one from Tripura, one from Tonchaing and three from non-tribal.
Bandarban Hill Tracts Zila Parisad would be the same member parisad with two from Marma, one from Tonchaing and Chakma, one from Murang, one from Tripura, one from Chak, Kheyang and Khumi, one from Bom, Lusai and Pangkhu and three from non-tribal.
