A total of three officials of the Ministry of Labour and Employment have been awarded the ‘Integrity Award’ for this year as they made significant and laudable contribution to their official works in 2019-20 year.
The three awardees are Inspector General (Additional Secretary) of the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments Shivnath Roy, the concerned ministry’s Joint Secretary Begum Shakila Zerin Ahmed and Office Assistant Md Ferdous Zaman, said a press release on Friday.
The award was given to them under the Integrity Award Policy-2017 introduced by the cabinet division, in recognition of achieving satisfactory targets in various indicators on the practice of integrity including professional skills in office works, it added. As a reward, the awardees will get certificate and money equivalent of their one month’s basic salary.
